If somebody asked you what it takes to be Catholic, would you be able to answer?
At the Duke Catholic Center, I am often amazed by how many people reach out with questions about the faith. Each inquiry is a reminder of how many hearts are genuinely searching. It takes courage to contact a parish or priest - but what if every Catholic layperson felt confident enough to answer simple questions and share the beauty of Christian life?
Imagine how many more people would be drawn to encounter Christ and live their faith more deeply.
What can you do today to deepen your own understanding, so that you can present the Catholic faith in all its splendor and joy?

Pope Leo XIV received King Charles at the Vatican. As the Anglican communion is going through some tumultuous times, it seems their king is looking for guidance from the Vicar of Christ, although he might not agree with some of the titles.
Best YouTube Video of the Week: Raymond Arroyo went on Matt Fradd’s podcast and there are a lot of gems. His conversation around the Latin mass is enlightening.
Best Podcast of the Week: If there is one podcast you should add to your list this year, it is Arthur Brooks’ podcast Office Hours. In this particular episode, he gives some helpful advice for managing anxiety.
My thoughts on the Sunday Gospel: There is so much we can learn from the parables of Jesus. This Sunday, when he talks about the Pharisee and the Publican, he teaches about the nature and value of grace.

Formed.org Highlight: Friday was the feast day of St. Anthony Mary Claret. I think it has been said that he lived three lifetimes because of the massive amount of work he was able to accomplish, both in Spain and in Cuba. Check out his life. I still remember reading a biography during my novitiate.
