Following a visit to Bennett Place, I have been excited to look at history of the Civil War and it has helped give a lot of perspective to other things happening.

Best Podcast of the Week: I have been very interested in the Civil War and History Unplugged does a great job explaining the Background.

What I am reading: Battle Cry of Freedom, by James McPherson. It is an excellent read on the Civil War. I am still in the preparatory phase.
